About

"This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before."
Leonard Bernstein, Tribute to John F. Kennedy, 25th November 1963
After studying the flute, musicology, sinology, music teaching, singing and choral conducting, I settled to Zurich in 2002.
My varied activities are all centred around the voice and people. I love sharing music with people from all walks of life: singers aged 7 to 77, jazz musicians, church choirs, amateur and semi-professional choirs...
When I'm not on stage, rehearsing or teaching, I'm arranging, studying, writing or practising sound yoga (singing bowl relaxation, vocal yoga workshops and sound baths).
My musical universe includes Renaissance polyphony, Vivaldi, motets for double choir of Bach and Mendelssohn, early 20th-century French music, Kurt Weill, Ella Fitzgerald, the Swingle Singers, Georges Brassens, Michel Legrand, Gaël Liardon, Tom Jobim, Astor Piazzolla, Ravi Shankar, Queen, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Sting and Iron Maiden...
